Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by TalkTV contributor and lawyer Paula Rhone-Adrien, broadcaster Alex Phillips and political journalist Ava Santina to discuss the ongoing ‘sanitising’ of children’s books as the Beano comics undergo a ‘woke’ transformation to introduce a more diverse cast and change some ‘offensive’ language used to describe some of the characters.
Piers Morgan believes it’s ridiculous to try and censor words like ‘fat’ when used jokingly in young children’s books, comics and films and that it in fact does more harm than good for helping their anxiety and confidence. He also finds it even more worrying that modern media will often celebrate morbid obesity in the form of ‘body positivity’.
