Piers Morgan Uncensored, guest presented by Rosanna Lockwood, is joined by director of law and order foundation Norman Brennan, former Haringey police commander Dr Victor Olisa and former Black Lives Matter activist Xaviaer Durousseau, to discuss the recent ruling from the Metropolitan police commissioner that banned officers from expressing support for social causes such as BLM and pride flags.
Norman Brennan suggests that when people join the police, they should become an impartial figure in the community and not ‘flaunt’ political causes on uniforms, as people would ‘lose that impartiality’ needed to police correctly.
Brennan also says he’s ‘never seen colour’ when policing whether it be fellow police officers, or criminals.
Victor, however strongly disagrees and suggests that all police officers ought to see colour because of the need to understand differences within their community.
