A coalition of international representatives speak on a panel at CPAC Japan 2022. Eduardo Verástegui shares that he was inspired to start CPAC Mexico by his desire to improve his homeland and give his people a place where they can find opportunity and success. CPAC gives a strong and articulate voice to Mexican conservatives, who, Verástegui believes, comprise most of the country. Miklós Szánthó explains that CPAC Hungary was significant as the first European CPAC. Hungary is the center of the conservative movement in Europe, and the event was a rallying point for conservatives across the continent. Gordon Chang thanks the moderator of the panel and organizer of CPAC Japan, Jay Aeba, for proposing the idea of an international CPAC to Chairman Matt Schlapp and Executive Director Dan Schneider. Without Aeba, none of these international CPACs would have been possible.
