Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by TalkTV presenter Rosanna Lockwood, TalkTV contributor Esther Krakue and socialist commentator Grace Blakeley to discuss and debate the new ‘Barbie’ film coming out and whether the children’s doll character is now a ‘feminist icon’ or in actual fact ‘anti-men’.
Piers suggests Barbie could truly be a feminist icon because she has over 200 occupations, even within male-dominated jobs. Rosanna doesn’t agree but does say Barbie can still be a person young girls look up to. Grace however believes that massive corporations are capitalising off the idea of characters being the ‘feminist icon’ to hide behind their own internal misogyny.
