UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak joins Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss his new plan to tackle illegal immigration problem in Britain, he also explains Suella Braverman’s controversial use of language when describing migrants.
Piers suggests to Rishi that many Prime Ministers often promise to make changes on things like illegal immigration but rarely achieve. Rishi then explains deals made with France and Albania to tackle the issue, along with a new policy he hopes to set in place to give the UK rights to detain any illegal immigrant whilst their claim to seek refuge is reviewed.
Piers also asks the PM about Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s ‘overly inflammatory’ choice of words used to describe migrants, with Rishi explaining that everyone including himself is ‘frustrated’ by the situation, adding that he thinks the right way to deal with the issue is to instigate his suggested policy changes.
