“SHE DOES NOTHING!” Marina Purkiss on The Queen and The Royal Family

Piers Morgan is joined by political commentator Marina Purkiss and Conservative writer Esther Krakue to discuss the Platinum Jubilee and the Queen’s 70-year reign. Marina opposes the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and believes it is ‘tone deaf’ to spend this much money on them in the midst of a cost of living crisis. Esther opposes her point by suggesting local governments waste millions on things that aren’t beneficial, and that these celebrations are important for public morale. Marina then follows up by saying the Queen “barely does a thing” which causes a heated debate between her, Esther and Piers, who starts to list all of the things the Queen has done for this country, such as the Commonwealth.
