Piers Morgan has returned to Piers Morgan Uncensored and his first order of duty is to make a public address to the newly-elected British Prime Minister Liz Truss. Piers lists all the problems we face that are spiralling out of control and asks the new PM what is she going to do about it?
Piers is then joined by a panel made up of political journalist Ava Santina, columnist Emily Sheffield and former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe to discuss whether Truss is up to the job and what the future looks like under her leadership.
Ann believes we have to back Truss and that immediately critiquing her will make it an inevitable disaster. Ava disagrees saying that it is absurd to discuss if we should give her a chance when the Tories have failed for 12 years and that we should be focusing on how people can afford to pay their energy bills during this cost of living crisis.
