It’s become very politically fashionable to say defund the police, but what does it mean for people living in crime ridden neighborhoods? This week Benny Johnson asked residents from two distinct neighborhoods in Washington D.C. for their opinions.

The first neighborhood was downtown, in BLM Plaza, a highly gentrified and affluent area. The second neighborhood? Anacostia. A crime-ridden, low income area of D.C.
