Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, held the highest-level talks between the two countries since the start of the U.S.-Iran war in Beijing on Wednesday, hours after President Donald Trump announced a pause on the U.S. military’s efforts to guide stranded vessels from the Persian Gulf to allow time for a deal to end the conflict.
